Kaup: Chili – Pili Children’s Special Program at Vidyaniketana

Kaup, 27 January 2012: The service to the innocent small children is like the service to God. Organizing the activities to suit to the talents of these little children with a clean mind will encourage these young students at their young age. It is really appreciable that these activities which the government cannot carry out, the private Institutions are organizing, said Udupi District Children Welfare Officer Sadananda Nayak.
He was speaking as the chief guest in the special program “Chili-Pili” for the children of Anganavadi conducted by Kaup Group of Education. The program was presided over by Correspondent K.P. Acharya, who said that such programs will be conducted every year. The program which was organized for the children of the surrounding areas of Kaup was attended by more than 200 children. Various competitions were conducted and the winners were given prizes.
The program was inaugurated by Chief Administrative Officer Prof. V.K. Udyavar by lighting the lamp and gave introductory speech. Anganavadi In Charge Leelavati, Vidyaniketana leaders Vidyadhara Puranik, Jayabharathi and Olivia Cutinho were present on the occasion. Usha Acharya welcomed the guests and the gathering. Sarika read out the list of winners. Kavita compeered the program. Gouri proposed vote of thanks.
