Teacher’s day celebrations in Brahmavara

Brahmavara,07 sept 2011: All the school teachers and the staff of Anganavadi of Cherkadi grama panchayath area were felicitated by the grama panchayath and the people of the area on the occasion of the teachers’ day celebrations on Sunday at the Mundkinageddi R.K. Patkar Vimalananda Kalamantapa near here.

 

The function was presided over by grama panchayath president Mr Kamalaksha Hebbar Kannaru. Karnataka State legislator Mr K. Raghupathi Bhat, Kota Srinivasa Poojary, Jilla Panchayath President Katapadi Shankara Poojary, Taluk panchayath president Kattingeri Devadas Hebbar, Jilla panchayath member Ms Gopi K. Naika, education department representative Ms. Ruby Pinto, grama panchayath vice president Ms Suguna Poojary, and industrialist Mr Dhanajaya Amin were also present on the dais.
Mr Harish Shetty Cherkadi welcomed the gathering; Mr Narayana Naika proposed a vote of thanks and Grama panchayath member Ms Prasanna Prasad Bhat compeered the programme.
