Udupi: Suma S. Nayak new President of RSB women forum

Udupi, 18 August 2011: Social activist Suma S. Nayak was appointed as the new President of Rajapura Saraswatha Brahmana Women’s Forum Manipal for the year 2011 – 12. Other office bearers are; Sunita N. Nayak - Hon President, Sumitra H. Nayak – Vice President, Gayatri G. Nayak – Joint Secretary and Susheela S. Nayak – Treasurer.

Annual meeting of Rajapura Saraswatha Brahmana Women’s Forum Manipal was presided over by Sumitra R. Nayak – President. The meeting was conducted at the residence of Keshava Nayak in Jyothi Nagara, Parkala. Chief Guest of the function Nayak Ambalpady handed over the scholarships to 37 talented poor students and appreciated the activities of the women’s forum. Hon. President Sunita N. Nayak was also present on the dias.

 

On behalf of the students Chaithnya and Reshma spoke and thanked for the scholarships. Secretary Roopa S. Nayak read the annual report. Treasurer Prema R. Nayak presented the details of the expenditures. Sumitra R. Nayak welcomed the guests and the gathering. Kumari Prathibha conducted prayers. Sumitra H. Nayak compeered the program. Bharati R. Nayak proposed vote of thanks.
