Udupi: BJP seeks resignation of District-in-charge Minister Sorake

Udupi, 18 May 2014: The former minister Vasant V Salian who deserted Congress a year ago during assembly election and joined BJP demanded resignation of state urban and district-in-charge minister Vinay Kumar Sorake at the outset of Udupi – Chikmagalur BJP Lok Sabha candidate Shobha Karandlaje secured a margin of 72,000 votes in minister’s Kaup constituency.
Addressing media persons after distributing sweets during victory celebrations along with hundreds of BJP activists at Katpady, here on Friday May 16, Salian said that youth community has cast votes diligently in the recently held LS polls with the aspiration of making Narendra Modi as PM. A lone woman Shobha Karandlaje who has won LS polls in Karnataka will become the voice women in parliament, said Salian.
