Moodubelle: Daylight robbery in Arbi, Manipura

Moodubelle, 17 September 2010: A case of robbery has been registered in Arbi, Manipura Grama Panchayath yesterday evening. Janaki Acharthi and her daughter Asha Acharthi and daughter-in-law Bharathi Acharthi had left their house and gone to Vishwadharma Pooja near Thanthiguri at 01.00 pm.

 

When they came back at 04.30 pm they were shocked to see that their house has been robbed. All their cloths and things were scattered here and there. The gold ear rings, rings, bracelet and necklace, all together about ten pawan gold is found missing. Also some silver jewelleries are missing.

 

 

The robbers seems to have entered through the main door. The steel almeirah is forcefully opened. Sub Inspector Mr. Mohan K. and his team from Kaup Police Station visited and examined the spot. A case has been registered.
