M’lore: District Congress OBC Unit Celebrate Birth Anniversaries of Rajeev Gandhi & Devaraj Ur

Mangalore, 21 Aug 2013: The district Congress Other Backward Classes (OBC) unit organized the birth anniversary celebrations of the former PM Rajeev Gandhi and former Karnataka CM Devaraj Urs at Dakshina Kannada (DK) District Congress Committee (DCC) office, here on Tuesday August 20 morning.
The state forests and DK district-in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai presided the function.
The minister Ramanath distributed bed sheets to the inmates of Bhagini Samaj at Jeppu market, here after the stage programme as a humanitarian gesture.
The district Congress OBC unit, this time sponsored the mid-day meals at Bhagini Samaj and was distributing fruits in the past.
The district Congress OBC unit president Dharanendra Kumar, convener Manuraj, block president Prakash B Salian, district vice president Sundar Poojary, chief secretary Praveen Kadenji Puttur, secretary Shobha, Congress leader Suresh Ballal, KPCC general secretary Ivan D’Souza, Kripa Alva and others were present on the occasion.

All youth including dalith youth must resolve to work hard and advance in life without depending on government backing any longer. by Hard work and effors like those of Mr DEvaraj Urs and Rajeev Gandhi they must contribute to the growth and development of the nation working atleast 6 hours a day in their area of work.
