Inauguration of the new academic year and distribution of books in Edmeru School

Moodubelle, 06 June 2010: The programme of the inauguration of the new academic year and distribution of books obtained from the government to the students of Shri Mahabhaleshwara Hindu Anudhanitha Higher Primary School, Edmeru was held on Friday, 4th June 2010 at 10 am in the school hall.
The school children were served with sweets marking the beginning of the new academic year 2010-2011. Mrs. Helen D’Souza, President of Jyothi Mahila Mandal distributed books to the students that were given to the school by the state government. The Secretary of the Gramina Buntara Sangha of Udupi, Gopala Shetty Belle and Treasurer, Ramesh Shetty Manipura also distributed free books donated by the Sangha. Devdas Hebbar, the former Vice President of the Belle Grama Panchayat also distributed free books and compa boxes donated by the Belle Grama Panchayat to the scheduled caste students.
The Hedmaster of the school, N. Vivekananda Shetty thaked the guests who had graced the occasion of the inauguration of the academic year and distributed books to the students. He also expressed gratitude to various generous persons who had supported the school by way of donation of money and other necessary things to the school. One of the old student of the school, Venugopal who was present for the programme assured of his help to the school.
The inaugural programme was attended by the member of the Managing Committee, Sitaram Shetty, senior teacher, Bhaskara Shetty, teacher, Mrs. Leelavati and honorary teachers, Asha Nayak and Sharada Nayak.
