Udupi: IFKCA to fete teachers on September 28

Udupi, 27 Sept 2012: The International Federation of Karnataka Christian Association (IFKCA) will present the ‘IFKCA Ideal Teacher’ to four teachers at Kallianpur near here on September 28.

IFKCA Louis Lobo district unit president told presspersons here on Tuesday that the Government had failed to acknowledge the service by Christian community to education, healthcare, and social service.

 

 

Those chosen for the awards are: Benedicta Mathias, headmaster at Government Higher Primary School, Irvathur Kolake, Karkala, (Primary/Higher Primary schools category); Alphonse D’Coasta, headmaster at St. Mary’s High School, Udupi, (High School/Pre-University category), Muriel Premlaha, Vice-Principal of Manasa Centre, Pambur (Visually Challenged Schools/Special Schools teachers category).

IFKCA chairman Ronald Colaco would preside over the function to be held at Silver Jubilee Hall of Milagres College in Kallianpur.
