Udupi: IFKCA Leaders welcome new District Commissioner

Udupi, 01 June 2011: The members of the International Federation of Karnataka Christian Association (IKFCA) paid a visit to Dr.M. T. Reju the new District Commissioner of Udupi district. They welcomed him to the district on behalf of the entire Christian community and assured their support and co operation whenever needed.

 

Mr Louis Lobo the president of the Udupi unit of the association on behalf of IKFCA Conveyed his best wishes to the DC and welcomed him to the district. He briefed him about the organisation and introduced him to the members present. He also Urged his support and co operation to fight and injustice and discrimination towards the Christians in the district.Fr William Martis also welcomed him and wished him good luck.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The DC Mr.MT Reju expressed his joy for having got his maiden posting at Udupi Dist. He assured that he and the district administration shall strive hand in hand to fight any problems and conflicts that come up. He said that harmonious living will continue as it has and the miscreants will not only be dealt with talk but also with force if needed.

 

Secretary of IFKCA Dr. Nery Cornelio, Legal advisor Wilson Rodriges, Taluk Panchayth Member Roshani Olivera, Youth Leader Michael Rodrigues, Mrs Ida Corenelio, Mr Charls Ambler and other members of the association were also present.
