Mangalore: MGC Schools Celebrates Independence Day

Mangalore, 16 August 2012: Mahathma Gandhi Centenary (M.G.C) Primary, High School, P.U College Bondel Celebrated Independence Day on August 15th with Elaborate programmes by students. Mr. Rudolph Pinto, Vice President St Lawrence Parish Bondel was the chief guest. The programme  began with the hosting of the flag by the chief guest, followed  by mass drill led by the students to the tune of the school brass band on the campus playground . The 1800 strong student community of the campus presented skits, dances and patriotic songs.  

 

 

Present on the Stage were Correspondent  Sr. Agnes, Principal of  P.U College Sr. Grace, Mrs. Monica D’Silva Vice President of  P.T.A. Mr Rudolph  Pinto called up on the students to work for the progress of the country and pray for those soldiers who protect our country.   Sr. Matilda D’Souza,  Headmistress of  High School and Sr. Anice Headmistress of primary with the help of dedicated teachers organized the programme.
