Computers and Printer Donated to Edmeru Higher Primary School

Moodubelle, 15 May 2010: Shri Mahabhaleshwara Hindu Higher Primary School at Edmeru received in donation two computers and a printer from Ninjoor Moodumane Sanjeevi S Hegde and children in memory of Shirva Nadibettu Shri Sadashiv Hegde who was a local resident. While donating the computer and printer, Mrs. Sanjeevi Hedge and her children Ramanath Hegde, Aruna Suratkal and Viddya Hegde expressed hope that the computers and printer that they have given to the school would help the rural children in their education. Ramanath Hegde who is a hotelier in Poona also donated Rs.10,000/- to the school for the appointment of a honorary teacher.
Aruna Suratkal gave cash prizes to the 7th standard (2009-10) students-Divya Kumari, Prajna Nayak and Pooja Prabhu who had scored good marks in the final examination. The Hegde family also made arrangements to provide ‘sweet food’ to all the school children on 7th August every year on the occasion of the death anniversary of late Shirva Nadibettu Sadashiv Hegde.
The headmaster of the school, Mr. N Vivekananda Shetty expressed gratitude to Mrs. Sanjeevi Hegde and her children for their concern and help for the progress of the rural students by providing computers, printer and donation for the appointment of an honorary teacher.
