A Memorable Toastmasters 7th Annual Div. H Contest held in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, 03 May 2012: Toastmasters International Division H Annual Conference was held in the Chamber of Commerce auditorium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on 27th April, 2012. Division H Governor, DTM Dr. Nasef Dhafari, Conference Chair ACS ALB George Mathew Marikaveettil and his team organized a brilliant conference thus made it a memorable one.

 

Division H is comprised of 30 clubs in 6 areas that are in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Club Contests 2012 were held in the month of January and February. All chapters conducted four different types of Speech Contests they are Humorous Speech Contest, Table Topics Contest, Evaluation Speech Contest and International Speech Contest.   

 

 

The best speakers from the clubs contested in their respective areas, the best speakers from 6 areas contested in the Division H Contest. Conference Chair George Mathew and his team members showed tremendous amount of dedication, hard work and sacrifice in organizing and executing the most memorable 7th Annual Division H Conference. The entire role players were awesome TM Ramesh Taurani, Chief Sergeant at arms called to order the meeting.

 

TM George Mathew, Conference Chair welcomed the Members and guests. TM Nasef Dhafari, division Governor opened the meeting and released the souvenir. MTM Silvya D’silva lead the Banner March. TM Sujith Vijayamohan was the Contest Chair for the Humorous Speech Contest. All Speeches were of good standard. MTM Salwa Marzouki was the Contest Chair for Table Topics Speech. She brightened the stage with her smile, grace and enthusiasm. TM Bharat Khatri was the Contest Chair for Evaluation Speech Contest. TM Gil Javier was the Contest Chair for International Speech Contest.

 

The 7th Annual Division H Conference had a host of sponsors and had a record attendance of nearly 370 Toastmaster and Guests. The contest had the distinction of providing so much of knowledge, talent and heart and all this was complementary. Time management at each stage of the event was amazing - on dot - not a minute more or not a minute less!!!!!!!

 

Division H has just concluded its 7th Annual Division Conference 2012.
