Udupi: Congress begins election campaign with huge rally

Udupi, 28 February 2012: Congress Party has began its Udupi – Chickmagalur election campaign with a huge rally on Monday, with attacks on the issues as its main weapon. On Monday Congress candidate Jayaprakash Hegde has submitted his nomination. In the rally that followed the nomination, the Congress National and State leaders exposed each and every of issues of the BJP government and attacked with their comments.

Chickmagalur leader Janardhana Poojary, Ramanatha Rai, Vinay Kumar Sorake, Nanjappa, Ivan D’Souza, U.T. Khader, Gopala Bhandary, Abhayachandra Jain, Gopala Poojary, B.L. Shankar, Pratapachandra Shetty… like this dozens of leaders being seen on the same stage is a rare scene confirms the instructions from the congress leaders to win this Udupi – Chickmagalur election.
 
KPCC President Dr. parameshwara Rao said from the stage that all the national and state leaders have been called for the election campaign and this election should not be like Bellary election, must come for the campaign without fail, should camp here itself and must visit houses. AICC State In charge Madhusoodhana Mistri said that if there is any misunderstanding within the party, do not make a issue, with unity the election has to be faced and winning only should be the aim, he said.
 
On the stage from Indira Gandhi to Murali Shetty there were about 39 pictures were shining and also on the stage from the AICC State In charge Minister to Narasimhamurthy of Udupi about 50 persons were there.
