Udupi: H.D. Kumaraswamy confident that JDS will win the by election

Udupi, 26 February 2012: In Udupi – Chickmagalur Lokasabha by election the result of the last Gulbarga Vidhanasabha bi election will repeat, says JDS State President H.D. Kumaraswamy. In Gulbarga election son of former Chief Minister from Congress and an influential entrepreneur fro Karnataka had contested. It was said that the JDS candidate will even loose the deposit. But finally only JDS has won.

 

 
Similarly even now everyone says that, in Udupi – Chickmagalur JDS does not exist, how can it win? But just watch and see, we have taken this election as a challenge. We will nominate a candidate and will also win, assured H.D. Kumaraswamy. Madhu Bangarappa, Mahendra Kumar, Darme Gowda and Boje Gowda are interested. On 27th February in the evening at 4.00 pm the leaders of both the districts and the state will meet in Bangalore and will select the candidate and on 28th will submit the nomination, he announced.
 
We have quietly made the preparation for the election and have also asked the left parties for their support. On 28th on behalf of the party huge rally will be conducted in which the state leaders will be participating. This rally itself will decide on the victory of the party, said Kumaraswamy.
 
2012 is the year of election. BJP which still has one and quarter year for the administration, but it is already collapsing. So for the election after that, the victory march will be conducted from the Udupi – Chickmagalur constituency itself, he assured. The party leaders Mahendra Kumar, Abdul Aziz, Boje Gowda, Devi Prasad Shetty, Gulam Mohammed and others were present.
