Mechanized farming launched in the fields of Dharmasthala

Ujire: Mechanized farming was launched in the fields of Dharmasthala on Monday under the presence and guidance of Dharmadhikari D. Veerendra Heggade.

 

Heggade wished the farmers well, saying that it is a promising development that farmers are getting higher yields and profits at lower costs through mechanized farming.

Anil Kumar, Executive Director of the Rural Development Project, said that 1,00,254 acres of agricultural land has already been cultivated by motivating 44,119 farmers in 96 taluks of the state under the Yantrashree project.
