Mangaluru: ISKCON Vice President Param Pujya Sanandanadas Swamiji inaugurated and blessed the Akshaya Patra scheme for providing hot midday meals to children at Sri Ramakrishna Educational Institution, Bantara, also known as Nadavara Matrusangha. Dr. Ashajyoti Rai, Chairman of the School Health and Wellness Board, Dr. Sanjeeva Rai, Convener, Ganesh Shetty, Chairman of the Teacher Protection Association, Keerthirai, Member of the School Management Board, Dr. Peslila D. Soja, Principal of the Pre-University College, Yashoda Shetty were present. Vice Principal Roopa compered the program and introduced fellow teacher Sujatha Swamiji to the meeting. Sasikala Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
Teachers’ Association meeting
The meeting of the teacher-guardian association of Sri Ramakrishna Educational Institution, which is led by the Buntara or Matru Sangha, was held at the Geetha S. M. Shetty auditorium. The meeting was inaugurated by psychiatrist Dr. Ramila Shekhar and gave a lecture on the role of parents in the development of our children with modern technology. The program was presented by the Vice Principal, and Teacher Suma welcomed the guests. Teacher Sujatha introduced the guests.
