Gopalakrishna Public Trust Gokula completes Talamaddale Week

Mumbai (RBI), June 16: Gopalakrishna Public Trust Gokula, Sion, Mumbai, B.S.K.B. Association, as part of its centenary celebrations on Monday, 9 June organized the Talamaddale Week, which was completed on Sunday, 15 June 2025.

 

In the presence of Gokula Sri Gopalakrishna, from the first day to the last day, the Karamavara-Sri Krishnavara was performed under the meaningful title of "Sri Krishna Kathamrutham" by the famous Bhagavatas and Himmelas. In the episodes Vadhe, Rukmini Swayamvara, Narakasura Vadhe, Magadha Vadhe, Sattva Test, Sri Krishna Sandhana, Sudarshana Darshan, the introduction of Sri Krishna’s diverse personality is presented in a very elegant manner. Satyanarayana Puninchittaya, Chinmaya Bhat, Kalladka, Ravichandra Kannadikatte as Bhagavats, Manimunda Subramanya Shastri, Chaitanya Krishna Padyana, Chendeyal Kalamali Kali and Ramalika as Maddale players Kalluraya, local Yakshagana artist H. Laxminarayana cooperated. Sunnambal Vishweshwara Bhat, Vasudeva Ranga Bhat, Madhur, Pashupati Shastri Shirankallu, Dr. Shivakumar Alagodu, Sarpangala Ishwar Bhatta, Sriramana Acharya, Karkala, Puttige Balakrishna Bhatta participated.

Ramananda Rao, Jagadeesh Chandra Kumar, R. Laxmish Bhat, and the Talamaddale team were present. President, office bearers, former president K, Subbanna Rao Vedamurthy, Subramanya Aital, Hari Bhat, Ramavithala Kalluraya honored the artists of the Talamaddale team with shalu and fruits.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Suresh S. Rao said that on this auspicious occasion of the centenary, we have explained the unique knowledge of Sri Krishna’s story through rhythm in these seven days. We are extremely grateful to all the artists who have contributed to the knowledge base. is.

 

Senior artists Sunnambala Vishweshwara Bhat and Vasudeva Ranga Bhatta called themselves from the village and provided all the facilities for the smooth running of the seven-day programme. He congratulated the organization and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the president of the organization and all concerned on behalf of his team.
