Platinum Jubilee of Sri Ramakrishna Students Hostel celebrated

Mangaluru: The Hostel Day program and Amrutsava program of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyartini Nilaya and Shambhavi Bhavan in Lal Bhag were held at Vidyartini Bhavan.

 

The program was inaugurated by the Chairman of Moodbidri Alva’s Educational Institution, Dr. M. Mohan Alva, by lighting the lamp. Many girls have benefited from the 80-year-old history of the Sri Ramakrishna Vidyartini Nilayam of the Bantara Matru Sangha. He said that by celebrating Hostel Day every year, the women here in the Vidyartini Nilayam got an opportunity to come together again. Ajit Kumar Rai Maladi, President of the Bantara or Nadava Matru Sangha, presided over the function. At Sri Ramakrishna Vidyartini Nilayam, great emphasis is placed on cultural and ethical issues. Therefore, discipline and time management can be seen in the children here, he said.

 

The Amritsiri commemorative edition will be unveiled by Udupi District Magistrate Dr. Vidyakumari. The chief guests were Shashirekha Anand Shetty of Organic Industries, Mumbai, Celebrity Chef Shriya Shetty, Amata Build Care Solution Partner Samiksha Shetty, Choreographer Pramod Alva, Treasurer of Buntara Matru Sangha Ram Mohan Rai, Joint Secretary Sampigedadi Sanjeeva Shetty. Student Hostel Convenor Shalini Shetty, Secretary Sarika Bhandari, Treasurer Savita Chowta, Joint Secretary Sharmila Shetty, Sujaya Rai, Usha Ballal, Dr Asha Jyoti Rai were present.

Six individuals who have achieved in various fields were honored at the ceremony. A large number of alumni participated in the ceremony and reminisced about their past.

 

Hostel Coordinator Shalini Shetty welcomed the gathering. Jayanthi Shetty read the report. Veena Shetty proposed the vote of thanks. RJ Nayana Shetty and Sunila Shetty compered the program. Arpita and Vibha conducted the cultural program, and Ashalatha Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
