Bantwala: Mite Technical College Inter-School Painting Competition

Bantwala: For the last 24 years, B. C. Road Mite Technical and Professional College, has been organizing inter-school college film art competition at B.C. Road’s Lions Club.
Artist Dinesh Holla inaugurated the function. He said that if students learn painting along with learning, they can achieve perfection in life.
Principal Rakesh and Nishmita Rakesh, Headmaster Ashraf, college student body leader Chandini and leader Mithun were present.
Sushma, a teacher, compered the programme. Swati introduced the guests. Nishmita proposed the vote of thanks.
High school and college students participated in the competition, which was held in two categories. Y. N. Taranath Acharya and Satish Panja were the judges.
Teacher Geeta conducted the prize distribution ceremony. Swati thanked.
Results:
In the high school section– Government High School Kavalakatte Third, Spandana J. Shetty – S. V. S Bantwala got second place, Mehak Fatima – Vidyarathna English Medium Deralakatte got first place.
Pranathi in the college section – Government P. U College Siddakatte Third, M. Kirtan – Gurudeva First Grade College Belthangady second, Dishan – Dayananda Pai College Car Street – first place.
The consolation prize was awarded to Ritesh S. K – Government High School Koila, Rifka Fatima – Tauheed Bantwala, Moideen Shameer – Carmel College, Pawan Shetty – University College Mangalore, Preeti – Koloso College Kankanadi, Pratham – Carmel, College – Nishashna, Mahasina – Carmel College, Fatimat Nuha – Vidyarathna English Medium Deralakatte, Saina Princita Misquit – Carmel P. U. College.
