Beltangady: New Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal attends Graduation Day celebrations at Dharmasthala

Beltangady, 09 Sep 2015: ‘Utilize your small portion of income for social service. It would leads to mental bliss. Contribute time for worthy causes. Live by your conscience with all honesty. Never do wrong deeds. Don’t earn by illegal means,’ said New Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
CM Kejriwal was delivering his address during Graduation Day of SDM Naturopathy and Yogic Science College, at Amrutavarshini auditorium, Dharmasthala, here on Wednesday September 9.
The degree certificates were presented to 54 graduates and 10 postgraduates on the occasion.
One has to face several challenges and difficulties in professional career. One has to face them with self confidence and serve the patients with love and care. The new doctors should become ambassadors of naturopathy and educate the masses, advised CM Kejriwal.
‘I had keen interest in yoga and naturopathy since my childhood,’ said CM Kejriwal. He further said that he had recently undergone naturopathy treatment at Jindal Naturopathy Hospital, Bengaluru to get back total wellbeing.
He also expressed his concern over becoming victims of diseases owing to work pressure, modern lifestyle and erratic food habits.
Integral Healthcare facility
There are many medical treatments, such as allopathic, ayurveda, homeopathy, naturopathy, Unani and others. Each treatment has effective cure for different diseases. All such treatments should be available at one hospital. The treatment should be based on the causes of diseases, background of the patient and other issues, advised CM Kejriwal.
He urged Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Veerendra Heggade to begin such healthcare facility first time in the world, urged CM Kejriwal.
Speaking on the occasion, Karnataka state health and family welfare minister U T Khader said that the health department is creating general awareness on ayurveda, naturopathy and other traditional medicinal practices through AYUSH. Such units will be opened in all government hospital in district centres. Ten AYUSH units are already functioning in 10 district centers, said minister U T Khader.
Veerendra Heggade in his presidential address sought the assistance of CM Kejriwal to open Integral Healthcare facility in the national capital New Delhi.
Heggade further said naturopathy is a treatment free from medication. One can lead healthy life by consuming moderate food, change in lifestyle, shunning all ill habits.
The new doctors should serve the patients with love and care, gain their trust, advised Heggade.
SDM Eucation Society vice president Professor S Prabhakar, secretary D Harshendra Kumar, SDM Naturopathy and Yogic Science College principal Dr Prashant Shetty, Shantivana Trust secretary B Sitaram Tolpadittaya were present.
SDM College principal Dr B Yasho Varma welcomed the gathering. Dr Shivaprasad Shetty proposed vote of thanks.
CM Kejriwal also inaugurated Prakruti girls’ hostel at Ujire on the same occasion.
Lokpal Bill to be enacted soon
Lokpal Bill will be enacted by October 2015, said CM Kejriwal.
Addressing the media persons and AAP activists at Sannidi guesthouse, Dharmasthala, here on Wednesday CM Kejriwal further said the beneficiaries should get suitable compensation when the government acquires their lands for development projects.
The next goal for AAP is to form its government in Punjab, added CM Kejriwal.
