Udupi: Vishwasadamane spreads humanity; unites prodigal son from Bihar with father

Udupi, 23 Jun 2015: Vishwasadamane, rehabilitation home, here reunited a seventeen-year-old youngster from Bihar, who was found as a destitute wondering in Garadi Majal main road, near here about a month ago, after recouping his energy and health with his father here on Monday June 22.
Vishu Shetty, a Samaritan from Ambalapady, here brought seventeen-year-old Vikas Kumar from Bihar who was shabbily dressed with un-kept hair and scavenging food from garbage bins in city to Vishwasadamane 15 days ago. Vikas was bathed and trimmed his hair, dressed with decent clothes by the staff at Vishwasadamane. He recovered his health after undergoing psychiatric treatment very soon.
He shared his father Munna Prasad’s telephone number with the staff who called Munna Prasad and asked him to come to Vishwasadamane to pick up his loving son Vikas who is fine and healthy.
Accordingly, Munna Prasad and relatives arrived at Vishwasadamane on Monday June 22 to take home Vikas who was a Class X student appeared for first public exam 3 months ago. He went missing when he had gone to attend the second exam and at last he was found on the city streets later. Munna Prasad lodged missing complaint with Bihar police. Meanwhile, Vikas does not know how he reached Udupi.
Munna Prasad thanked Vishwasadamane chief functionary Pastor Pascal D’Souza for his great help in caring for his son Vikas. They left to their native town here on Monday.
