Udupi: Vishwasadamane, reunites 45-year-old destitute woman from Maha with family

Udupi, 07 Feb 2016: Vishwasadamane, rehabilitation centre, Shankerpura, near here reunited a forty-five-year-old destitute woman from Bilaspur, Maharashtra, with her family since nearly 2 years of mission here on Saturday February 6.
The forty-five-year-old Phoolbai, a destitute woman from Bilaspur, Maharashtra was found wondering in Iravattoor, near here that comes under the limits of Karkala rural police station. She was picked up during night patrol by sub-inspector Prabhamani and put her in care of Vishwasadamane on March 13 2014.
The shabbily dressed stinking woman was given proper bath and dressed her with good clothes. She was also successfully treated for her mental ailment. She had gradually recovered her wellbeing and began working in plantation and mat making. She shared her native address upon persistent request by the staff under her care. The chief functionary Pastor D’Souza wrote a letter to her family and the they received in a few days.
Phoolbai reported missing since 3 years. She was married with 4 daughters and 2 sons. Her husband was working as steel fixer, passed away 7 years ago owing to ill health. Phoolbai migrated to J & K along with her sons, to sustain her family back in Bilaspur, Maharashtra. Meanwhile, she went missing whilst working there. Her daughter and in-laws have arrived at Vishwasadamane and taken her back to their home.
