Udupi: Vishwasadamane, Shankerpura reunites 6 destitute with families in south India

Udupi, 21 Nov 2016: Vishwasadamane orphanage for destitute, Shankerpura, near here reunited 6 destitute with their families in different southern Indian states.

 

The team of Vishwasadamane left with destitute on November 11 at 9.30am to Kasargod, Kerala and succeeded in reuniting Sridevi with her brother Gopal. She had left home 3 years ago leaving behind her daughter.

 

The team further journeyed and reached Tripura in Tamil Nadu on November 12 and succeeded in reuniting Kannan with his mother. Kannan went missing since 2 years and police failed to trace him. His mother was happy to receive her prodigal son.

 

The team continued their journey and reached Trichinapalli (Trichy) in Tamil Nadu on November 13 and succeeded in reuniting Marlayya with his nephew Balasubramanyam. Marlayya left his home 3 years ago. Both his wives are passed away and he has daughter who is married.

 

 

The team had to journey 200 kilometers back due to mismatched address to locate the kith and kin of Vamshi, but were successful in their mission. They reunited Vamshi with his mother on November 14. She said that her husband passed away leaving behind 3 children including Vamshi who is the youngest in the family. He had left home on February 2, 2015. She was happy to receive her son who got rebirth because of Vishwasadamane.

 

The team further journeyed to Andhra Pradesh and was successful in locating the kith and kin of Venkatachala Naidu on November 14.  Venkatachala was the eldest among 4 children. His mother had passed away 18 years ago. Venkatachala had bout of mental illness since his childhood. He abandoned his home 15 years ago. The family perceived that he was dead, but the team reunited Venkatachala with his aged father who accepted him with wide open arms.

 

The team further continued their journey and succeeded in locating the kith and kin of Odiyppa in Mehmoud Nagar, Pirki village in Telangana, on November 15. He was married and has one son. His wife committed suicide because of he was habitual thief. His lone son is grown up and cared by his grandmother, studying in Class X. He had abandoned his home 10 years ago. His sister accepted Odiyappa in her home.

 

The volunteers’ team of Vishwasadamane were successful in reuniting 6 destitute with their respective families. Meanwhile, they had to return to their base with 4 destitute: Razak (Kerala) and Babu (Andhra Pradesh) because their kith and kin refused to accept them. The team had to return to their base with destitute Laxmi (Andhra Pradesh) and Nambayya (Telangana) because of insufficient addresses. They reached Vishwasadamane, Shankerpura, near here on Thursday, November 11 at 2.00pm.
