Udupi, 19 Oct 2014: The science and technology is like body and soul.  When both science and technology interacts, innovation takes place, said Swami Vishwavallaba of Sodhe mutt.

 
Swami Vishwavallaba was speaking during the valedictory of science model competitions for the students held at Madwa Vadiraj Technical Institute, Bantakal, near here on Saturday October 18.

 
Dr Ashok Rao was the chief guest hoped that the common man gets benefited of new scientific innovations.

 

 
Brahmavar – Little Rock School bagged the first prize, Kallianpur - Milagres PU College bagged the second prize, Shankarapura – St John’s PU College bagged the third prize, among over 30 competitors. 

 
Madwa Vadiraj Technical Institute principal Dr Radhakrishna S Ithal congratulated all the students who competed in the competition.

 
Dean Ganesh was present at the dais.

 
The mechanical department Professor Anand Hegde welcomed the gathering. The computer   science Professor Venugopal Rao proposed vote of thanks.  Priyanka Bhat compered the programme.
