Udupi: Bharath Bookmark Inaugurated

Udupi, 04 November 2010: Bharath Bookmark a bookshop with all kinds of books under one roof was inaugurated on Wednesday 03 November, in Lakshmi Narasimha Towers at Kunjibettu, Udupi, by T. Sathish U. Pai, Executive Director of Manipal Media Network.

 

 

Upon inauguration T. Sathish U. Pai said “If the literature of the writers remains with them it does not reach to anyone. Those literatures have to come out in books. The books which are published can only reach to the readers through the bookshops like this. This bookshop has considered all these aspects and the fields of interest of various people, so it has brought a new inspiration among the people”.

 

The function was presided over by B. Ganapathi Pai, Executive Director of Bharath Beedi Works. The chief guests were Mathew C. Ninon – Principal of Little Rock School Brahmavara and C. K. Gopal – Deputy General Manager of Corporation Bank. Other guests and dignitaries present in the occasion were Subraya Pai – Director of Bharath Beedi Works, Anand G. Pai – Managing Director of Bharath Mall and Venkatesh M. Pai – Managing Director of Bookmark.

 

Anantha Pai – Director of Bharath Beedi Works welcomed the guests and the gathering. Sudhir M. Pai – Managing Director of Bharath Auto Cars proposed vote of thanks. Shivananda Pai compeered the program.

 

As per the information given by the Director of Bookmark, the books of various categories such as Stationery, School, Engineering, Medical and Management are placed in separate sections. Stories, Novels, Cooking books and Fashion books are also kept in a separate section. There is also a separate section for premium pens.
