This wants a general event of Mangis but a group called mangala mela started with 10 people 12 yrs ago by me. The last celebration so 93. Many have found their long lost neighbors, relatives, class mates etc. At every event there is ample Konkany, mangalorean food etc. all going on without office bearers, membership fee etc. But sheer good will, generosity, love and the desire to preserve and experience mangakorean culture, Christian faith and fellowship through 3 or 4 yearly gatherings and many more individual family events. | |

You can take the Mangalorean out of Mangalore, but you cannot take Mangalore out of the Mangalorean! |
