Constitutional Day Observed in St. Lawrence PU College, Moodubelle

Udupi/M’Belle, 26 Nov: “Every citizen of India should understand the Constitution of India. Constitution is the basic law of the nation and the government in a democratic country has to govern according to the Constitution. Those who have crossed 18 years of age must enroll themselves in the voters list. By this the Constitutional spirit can be upheld”, said Shri Suresh Devadiga, teacher in Narayana Guru High School, Pamboor who is also BLO. He was speaking at the Constitutional Day observed in St. Lawrence PU College, Moodubelle on 26 November 2022. He also made the students and staff aware of the Voters Helpline App.
Edward Larsen D’Souza, Principal of St. Lawrence P U College presided over the programme and explained the Preamble of the Indian Constitution.
Senior teacher Mrs. Sunitha Kamath proposed the vote of thanks and History lecturer Naveen Corea compered the programme.
BLOs Edward Noronha, Mrs. Poornima, Mrs. Meenakshi, student leaders Tanish Shetty and Prerana were on the dais. There was demonstration of Voters Helpline App.
