Bantwal: State-run school at Nalkemar welcome students with brass band music

Bantwal, 27 Oct 2021: The schools across Karnataka were reopened on Monday, October 25.
Meanwhile, the students of Class I to Class V were welcomed in a colorful procession of musicians from a local brass band at the upgraded DK ZP Government Higher Primary School, Nalkemar, in the limits of Amtady gram panchayat on Monday morning.
The students of Class VI to Class VIII of the same school welcomed the students of Class I to Class V accompanied by the brass band. The school betterment committee president Vijay and others were also partaken in the procession.
The teachers welcomed the students with flowers and balloons. They also offered ‘arati’ applied ‘kumkum’ to their foreheads and seated them in the hall.
The programme began with the children’s song sung by teacher Rekha.
Amtady gram panchayat president Mohini welcomed the gathering.
Amtady gram panchayat vice president Sunil Kumar, PDO Ravi, head teacher Jyoti, panchayat members were present.
Teacher Jyoti welcomed the gathering. The teacher Rekha Rao compered the programme. The teacher Sasikala compered the programme.
