SJEC Associate Prof Dr Rajesh Kumar gets Union Research Grant of Rs 14.76 Lac

Mangaluru, 16 Dec 2014: The department of Atomic Energy (DAE), government of India, sanctioned a research grant of Rs 14.76 lac for the research project titled: ‘Irradiation Supported Design and Study of Non-linear Optical Materials for Photonic Applications’, under Dr Rajesh Kumar P C, Associate Professor in the department of Physics at St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, here on the recommendations of the Board of Research in Nuclear Science (BRNS).

 

 

The grant consists of a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) with a salary of Rs 16,000 for the first 2 years and Rs 18,000 as Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for the third year. Grant also includes fund allocation of Rs 3.6 lac for 2 research equipments - a Spin coating machine and Ultrasonicator. The grant is for 3-years starting from the financial year 2014-15.
