M’lure: Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2014 held at St Joseph Engineering College

Mangaluru, 09 Nov 2014: The ninth Graduation Day of St Joseph Engineering College - Vamanjoor, Mangalore was held on the 8th of November, 2014 at SJEC Open Air Stage. The Bishop of Mangalore, Most Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, the President of SJEC presided over the function. Former Judge, The Supreme Court of India and Former Lokayukta Chief of Karnataka, Justice N Santosh Hegde was the Chief Guest. The Director-In Charge, Rev. Fr Ajith Menezes, welcomed the gathering and the Principal of SJEC, Dr Joseph Gonsalvis introduced the Chief Guest.

 

 

 

Four hundred and twenty one Engineering Graduands including Post graduands from the Departments of Business Administration, Computer Applications, and Engineering were honoured with Graduation Certificates by the Chief Guest. The College is proud to have an overall result of 96 percent in the year 2014. In his speech, the Chief Guest, Justice N Santosh Hegde called upon the graduands to be the harbingers of change in the society by being true human beings. The Graduands, Parents and the Management were congratulated by the Bishop of Mangalore. Mr Sudheer M, Associate Professor from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Convener of the Ceremony offered the Vote of Thanks.
