Gopalakrishna Public Trust, Gokul - Bhagavad Gita Discourse Week

Mumbai: Gopalakrishna Public Trust, B.S.K.B. Association, organized the Bhagavad Gita Pravachana Saptaha as part of the centenary celebrations of Gokul from Monday, 19.5.2025 to Sunday, 25.5.2025 at Gokul Sabhagriha by Vidwan Kutpady Krishnaraj Acharya, Professor of Poornaprajna Vidyapeeth. On the first day, 19, May, Monday, Vidwan Krishnaraj Acharya, B.S.K.B. Association Treasurer Haridas Bhat, Joint Treasurer Ganesh Bhat, Joint Secretary Mohanraj, Gopalakrishna Public Trust Trustee Shailini Rao inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. The program began with the chanting of Veda hymns by the priests under the leadership of Vedamurthy Daregudde Srinivas Bhat. Haridas Bhat introduced the lecturers and welcomed them.

 

Then, every day from 4.30 pm to 7 pm, Vidwan Krishnaraja Bhat, with his incomparable voice, narrated to the assembled devotees the essence of Gita knowledge, selected verses from 18 chapters of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, which emanated from the face of the Lord and guide mankind towards self-improvement.

On the day of the closing ceremony, Sunday 25.5.2025, after the discourse and Krishna Arpana, President Dr. Suresh S Rao, under the leadership of Gov. Secretary A.P.K. Pothi, Treasurer Haridas Bhat, members of the priestly class Giridhar Udupa, Ramvithal Kalluraya honored the lecturers with a petha, shawl and fruit offerings. Haridas Bhat offered thanks. Every day after the discourse, the breakfast arrangement was organized by the B.S.K. B. Association’s Food Committee.
