Milk prices to go up by Rs 4 per litre from tomorrow

Bangalore, 08 Feb 2013, (PTI): Prices of all varieties of milk being supplied by Karnataka Milk Federation have been hiked by Rs four per litre and will come into effect from tomorrow.

 

KMF in a press release here said the rate of full cream milk would go up by Rs two per litre, while prices of all other varieties, including toned milk, are being increased by Rs four per litre.

 

Ordinary milk now priced at Rs 24 per litre will cost Rs 28 from tomorrow.

 

KMF said a major portion of the hike, which the government approved today, would go to milk producers.
