Annual Meeting of the Belle Milk Producers Association held

Moodubelle,13 August 2011: The Annual General Body Meeting of the Belle Milk Producers’ Association for the year 2010-11 was held on Saturday, 13 August 2011 at 10 am in the Geeta Mandir Hall. The meeting was presided over by Dr. H.B. Shetty, President of Belle Milk Producers Association. The guests of honour included Krishnamurthy Bhagwat, Extension Officer and Dr. Anil Kumar Shetty. Deputy Director of the Milk producers Federation. The Secretary of the Belle Milk Producers Association, Ravindra A.H. and Executive Committee members were on the dais.

 

Following the prayer, Dr. H.B. Shetty welcomed the guests and members of the Belle Milk Producers Association. Dr. Anil Kumar Shetty in his key-note address explained about the care to be taken in cattle rearing and the type of fodder to be fed to the cattle in order to maintain their health and improve the quality of milk. Dr. Shetty also gave satisfactory answers to the questions raised by the members and clarified their doubts.

In the General Body Meeting last year’s report and audited income-expenditure statement was   presented and budget for 2011-12 was passed.

In his presidential speech, Dr. H.B. Shetty complimented the members of the Belle Milk Producers Association for their contribution to the society. He also presented gifts as appreciation to the members who had contributed maximum amount of milk to the society.
