Belman: Community Health Day Celebrated

Belman, 29 March 2012: Community Health Day was celebrated in Belman Primary Health Centre on Tuesday, jointly organized by Udupi Jilla Panchayath Health and Family Welfare department, Primary Health Centre Belman, Grama Panchayath and Grama Health Committee.

 

 
The program was presided over by Belman Grama Panhcyath President Mallika Rao. The program was jointly inaugurated by Teacher Juliana Moras, Grama Panchayath Member Yogish, Harish Jogi, Krishna Shetty and Rajani, by lighting the lamp. Chief guest of the program Grama Panchayath Member Geetha Prabhu was on the dias.

 
Medical Officer Dr. Sathish spoke and briefed on the significance of Community Health Day, the involvement of the community with the department and the benefits. Senior Health Assistant Prabhakara Nayak welcomed and also compeered the program. Senior Women Health Assistant Lalitha, Asha worker Pushpa, Meenakshi conducted prayers. Junior Health Assistant Pramila proposed vote of thanks.
