Shirva: Devotees conduct procession in preparation of Parish Feast

Shirva, 01 February 2012: As part of the annual feast of St. Mary’s Church Shirva, Senior Priest Rev. Fr. Stany Fernandes initiated the procession after the prayers on Tuesday evening, the eve of the feast. The procession which began from the Syndicate Bank U.S. Achar circle, led by the Priests, Altar boys and girls along with the devotees in huge numbers carrying the decorated statue of St. Mary.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On this occasion Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Stany Tauro, Rev. Fr. Greshan Alwaris, Rev. Fr. Naveen D’Souza, Rev. Fr. Parveen, Parish Council Vice President Arwin D’Souza and others were present. The Church was decorated with festive lights.
