Pamboor: New year Mass in Holy Cross Church

Pamboor, 01 January 2012: The New Year Eve Mass started at 7:30pm. Before mass there was Adoration. People thanked the Lord for the blessings he showered on them during the year 2011.

 

During the mass the  sermon was delivered by Fr.Nicholas Martis from Indore. By narrating a story, he emphasised on the need to thank the Lord for all the blessings that he had showered on us and said that we should change for better by giving up our old habits which pull us down.

 

 

After the mass, Fr. Charles Lewis the parish priest wished the people a Prosperous Happy New Year.

 

A new CD "Vozram-Motiam" by Mandd-Sobhann was released by Rev.Fr.Nicholas Martis. Fr. Charles Lewis thanked the former  parish priest-Rev.Fr.Harold Menezes and Rev.Fr.Nicholas Martis by offering them bouquet of flowers.

 

After the mass the ICYM members organized cake auction and housie game.
