Mangalore, 08 october 2011: King’s Academy, Mangalore on behalf of Karnataka State Chess Association, under the aegis of Chess Association of India will organize Rs.2 Lakh prize money CAI Rated South Zone Chess Tournament from 10th to 14th October 2011 at Srinivasa Kalyan Mantap, V T Road, Mangalore.
The tournament winner will be awarded. Rs.25,000/- cash prize along with ‘PANAMA Trophy’. Top 50 players will be awarded cash prizes. Apart from main prizes, Cash prizes will be also awarded to Age groups, Women and veteran categories.
The event is co-sponsored by Panama Group, Mangalore.
Players from Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep and Pondichery are eligible to participate.
