Udupi: ICYM - Pamboor organizes Yuva Sangam

Udupi/Pamboor, 07 July 2014:Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) unit of Holy Cross parish - Pamboor organized Yuva Sangam, youth get-together at the parish auditorium, near here on Sunday July 6.  It was organized in memory of ICYM members Joy, Maxim, Lavina, John and Steven who had passed away at their young age. 
 
Pamaboor parish priest and ICYM unit spiritual director Fr Paul Rego inaugurated the function.
 
Pamboor parish council vice president Prakash Noronha and secretary Asumptha D’Souza, ICYM animator Lucas D’Souza, guest speaker Leslie Aroza were present at the dais.
 
Prakash Noronha addressed the youth to be aware of the happenings around them.
 
Leslie Aroza spoke on Role of Youth in a family.

 

 

Fr Reginald Pinto spoke on Leadership by youth.
 
 
After the lunch, Steven Colaco and group have conducted group building games.
 
Around 50 parish youth have partaken in Yuva Sangam.   It gave them an opportunity to forge comradeship. 
 
ICYM president Reshma Mendonca welcomed the gathering.
