Bangalore : Greenwood High Won Best School Trophy At All India Open Rating Chess Tournament

Bangalore, 19 June 2014 : Greenwood High students won 4 category prizes in the 1st Rail Wheel Factory All India FIDE Rated( Below 1600 rating ) Chess Tournament held recently at Rail Wheel Factory Employees Institute, Bangalore.
Greenwood High International School was awarded the Best School Trophy for their students performance.
Reetish Padhi (Grade 8D) won first place in the under-15 category.
Rohan Jaggi (Grade 8D) won first place in the below 1500 rating category
Pritam Dash (Grade 8A) won first place in the below 1300 rating category.
Shraddha Somanath (Grade 1 A) won second place in the Under-7 Girls Category.
Adya Singh, Apoorv Indrajit Belgundi, Dhruv Srikanth and Aditya Sundaram are the other Students who took part in the event.
Overall 333 players from All over India took part in this event.
