“We are extremely proud of the class of 2014. We have had record University acceptances and almost 1.75 Million US$ in scholarship offers. They have been a fantastic year group, not just academically, but the mixture of personalities and characters within the group have made them a dynamic and fun group to teach. We wish them all the best for their bright futures” said Mr. Robert James King, Middle School / High School Principal.

The Guest Speaker for the event Mrs. Kalpana Kar, Member of Bangalore Political Action Committee (BPAC) also addressed the graduating class of 2014. She also gave them examples of few eminent personalities and their success stories.

“Firstly I would like to say congratulations to all those who are graduating on persevering and getting to this day. Graduation is a time of completion, of finishing, of an ending, however, it is also a time of celebration of achievement and a beginning for all of you. I wish all the students a great future ahead” said Priya Anand - TOK / CAS Coordinator and emcee for the event.

“It was a very sad moment as I will miss all my friends and teachers who have helped make me the person I am today. Their support and tremendous encouragement has helped me balance both my athletic and academic life” said IB2 student Nikhil Mohan.

“It was a moment of mixed emotions, it was a start of new life and end of one. These three years that I spent at CIS have been one to remember and I want to thank everybody involved for making it so” said IB2 student Sajal Mehta.

“A double joy for us as parents as our children had completed all their coursework for the 2 years IB Diploma program, an academically challenging and balanced program which is said to have gained recognition and respect from the world’s leading Universities. It has been a wonderful 2 years here at CIS for my children and they take back with them a whole new experience, new friendships and much more. A very special Thank You to all teachers and the leadership team at Canadian International School, for all their guidance and support throughout these years, without whom would have been impossible.  Congratulations to the Class of 2014, You did it and Wishing you the best in all your future endeavors” said Mahenthiran’s Family.
