Udupi: State-level Rovers – Rangers Convention underway at Milagres College, Kallianpur

Udupi, 31 Dec 2013: Bharat Scouts and Guides Karnataka state guides commissioner Shanta V S Acharya inaugurated five-day state level Rovers – Rangers convention that was jointly organized by Milagres College – Kallianpur, Bharat Scouts and Guides Karnataka, Udupi district scouts and guides at Milagres College, here on Monday December 30. 

 
Milagres College correspondent Fr Stany B Lobo conveyed best wishes for the programme and also released a commemorating bulletin on the same occasion.

 
Udupi MLA Pramod Madwaraj, Karnataka state scouts and guides chief commissioner B Shanmukappa, Salvador Crasto, Udupi district scouts and guides commissioner Edwin Alva and others were present.

 

 

 
The district scouts and guides chief commissioner K Balakrishna Rao presided the programme.

 
Milagres College principal Dr Neri Cornelio welcomed the gathering.  The convener Dr Jayaram Shettigar delivered the introductory address.  Anand Ganiga compered the programme.  The district guides training commissioner Kogga Ganiga proposed vote of thanks.
