Abu Dhabi: H.H. Shaik Al Nahyan Bin Mabarak inaugurates Magnificant INDIA FESTIVAL-4 AT ISC.

Abu Dhabi, Dec 06, 2013 :  The magnificent India Fest 2013 to 2014  (Season 4) was inaugurated by H.H. Sh. Al Nahyan Bin Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development accompanied by HE Ambassador Mr. M.K. Lokesh and Padmashree Dr. B.R. Shetty (Vice Chairman BOG ISC), Mr. Joy Thomas John (Hon. President, ISC) and community Police Chief at the roof top of India Social and Cultural Centre on 5th December 2013.  The inauguration also attended by a large number of officials from the ministry and community police.

 

 

 

The India-Fest is very popular since its beginning 4 years ago and attracts thousands of people to enjoy variety of programs, cultural shows, food outlets, shopping etc etc. and wining loads of prizes.  India Fest4 will continue until 7th December and loads of entertainment is preserved for the closing ceremony on 7th evening starting from 7pm.  It is a three day whole day event and large number of people continues flocking the Venue whole day. 

 

Mr. Thomas John welcomed the dignitaries on the dais and offered flower bouquets to H.H. Sh. Al Nahyan Bin Mabarak Al Nahyan and HE Ambassador Mr. M.K. Lokesh prior to the inauguration. 

 

Prior to the inauguration, a few local dances were performed and a Indian Punjabi Bangra dance was performed. And variety of cultural shows followed after the inaugural function.

 

Speaking on the occasion HE Ambassador M.K. Lokesh expressed his happiness in ISC organizing such a huge festival and he also attended the first festival and this is going to be his last as he is moving to Switzerland by middle of this month.  He wished all those involved in organizing this event all success.  Also spoke on the occasion were Mr. Sudhir Kumar Shetty (COO Global UAE Exchange) one of the main sponsors of the festival and wished all a great success.

 

The entertainment session was taken over by Mr. Dhanush a well known emcee from India and Dr. Aparna from Abu  Dhabi.  All the three years they have been entertaining the crowd being emcees of the great event since 2010.

 

A loads of food outlets are put up at the roof top for the people to enjoy a variety of food from South to North India and also enjoy shoping at the Main halls where several cloths, cosmetics, jewelry shops are installed for the festival.

 

 
A lot of entertainment is being arranged from expert musicians, dancers from all over India and it will be a great festival to attend and enjoy along with family members.

 

On the occasion Mr. Sarvotham Shetty (Former President ISC), Mr. Jairam Rai (Group Finance Manager, Bin Fardhan exchange, Mr. Dhooth (Videocone MD) and many other sponsors, dignitaries were present.
