I love my Primary school. It was a place where i started my education. Learning ಅ, ಆ, ಈ, writing in slates through kaddi, love and care of teachers specially in 1st standard, i was sitting on Leena teachers lap, running as we driving a bus :),  "ಶಿಸ್ತು ಪೀರಿಯಡ್", talking in Konkani-Kannada mixed language, waiting for school bell at evening (we didn t had hand watch those times), after prayer, etc. etc. it was a great memory that we never forget...

If look at the history of Moodubelle primary kannada medium school the achievements what primary school achieved even today none of our schools neither higher school or PUC college achieved even the English medium school for that matter. We have complete infrastructure in Primary school but this need to be re-organized systematically. For sure in coming days this school will be a big assets to all Belleans. As Lawrence rightly said somehow and somewhere the kannada medium school looks neglected especially recent years. No one has taken the initiative to maintain the lovely infrastructure and facilities which school had in the past. Now this school has not even proper ground which is very basic necessity of any school. But I am sure with the support of old students along with the school management things will change and we can expect much better developments in coming days. Wishing good success to our Primary school.

I respect the opinion of Mr. Lawrence. But the situation prevailing today is entirely different. more than 250 students study in this school. I think Lawrence has forgotton his childhood days and the condition of his native place. Still today many families cannot satisfy their daily needs. For them the institution serves the best. finally the conclusion is lets do not argue for and against about Kannada and English Medium Schools. Let us support our beloved institution. It is noteworthy that RTE Act also supports the above argument. I strongly support and agree with Mr. Oliver Quadras and Victor Castelino. So let us join our hands to this great event.
Oliver Quadros, Mumbai Sat, September-28-2013, 5:15
Dear Mr. Lawrence Dsouza, Your opinion is agreed. There are so Many people who had built this institution or worked for this institution are not alive today to see this Occasion which comes once in a life time. We are fortunate here to witness this Centenary. Lets not think that because our children are not benefiting from this organization so lets forget it. Because we don t send our kids to kannada medium its not our institution s fault. One thing we should not forget that what ever we are today is because of this school. which never charged us hefty fees or donation unlike today s English Medium School. How can any one go to High School or College without Primary School. Lets not act to be greedy/ selfish rather lets unite together and make this event as a memorable history. Its our duty too
Victor Castelino, Boliye/Dubai Fri, September-27-2013, 11:37
I thank Lawrence D souza for voicing his opinion even though I don t agree with him. That should be the spirit of all people from Boliye. Celebrating a century is worth the troubles and expences and if we help to improve the infra structure of the school which as time passes might as well be merged with the english medium school, we would be doing a great job. There is nothing to loose but everything to gain. As for now, let us all celebrate!
Lawrence Dsouza, Bombay Fri, September-27-2013, 11:07
Hello when everyone wants english education why all these expenses on kannada medium, if you can sponsor each year 40 students complete english medium education we dont have to spend so much money for this. im not against the reunion but spending so much on cant be justified. in moodubelle all facilities are there for english medium but first church school is neglected. dont you feel its a double standards by the church.
Stephen Mathias, Kuwait Fri, September-27-2013, 5:04
Oliver you are absolutely right. Whatever today I am I must say its because of my loving primary KANNADA medium school where I learned Aa Aaa Ee Eee... I feel lucky and blessed to be part of the centenary celebration. I appreciate the efforts of Shila master, Rajendra Shetty, Jerry Fornand n Ivan Dalmed. Keep it up your efforts and this will bring big difference in the history of Belle Primary School.
Oliver Quadros, Mumbai/ Moodubelle Fri, September-27-2013, 2:44

Being honest this meeting took me in to back flash, and brought back those good old memories dug/ hidden somewhere in my brain. Impossible to imagine those days in today’s world. We is to walk bare foot  (even slippers were luxury) to the school in group, nylon bag (ಬೀಣೆ ಚೀಲ) on shoulder, tiffin on one hand and umbrella on other  (ಕೈ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬುತ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕೈ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡೆ). I remember on our way back from school  filling tiffin with  ಕುಂತಳ ಹಣ್ಣು also eating ಪುಲ್ಕಟ್ಟೆ ಬೀಜ, ನೆಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಯಿ  etc. we had such a bindaas attitude no stress no botheration un like today’s students. But shit scarred of Sadananda Master. School assembly, our school bell (Maroon colour). Playing games like kalla polis, Kho Kho, Tonka etc. so much to remember and cherish. Very happy to get in touch with old Class Mates.Long Live My School let my school celebrate 200, 300 even 500 years and more….
