Karkal: Installation Ceremony of Rotary Club - Nitte Held

Karkal, 16 Jul 2013: The installation ceremony of Rotary Club International (RCI) – Nitte was held at Sambrama Hall of Nitte Institute of Technology, here on Saturday July 13.

 RCI former district governor K Krishna Shetty Mangalore installed N Arvind Kumar and K Vishnumurti Rao as president and secretary respectively here on Saturday.

The assistant governor Madhav Suvarna released club’s bulletin ‘Niroopa’ at the occasion. The zonal commandant Hariprakash Shetty distributed scholarship to talented students. The new members Nandalike cluster CRP Panduranga Shetty Barady and Nagesh Poojary joined the club.

 

RCI – Nitte outgoing president K Arvind Hegde presided the function.The joint secretary Sudhakar M Kotian presented the report. K Yogish Hegde, Dr Niranjan Chiplunkar and Professor Ramesh Mittantaya introduced the guests.

The new president N Arvind Kumkar called on the members to take active role in social activities and also announced new programmes. 

Anil Kumar compered the programme.  The new secretary Vishnumurti Rao proposed vote of thanks.
