Katapadi: Rotary Club holds Zonal Meet “Sambrama – 2011”

Katapadi, 23 May 2011: “In Rotary there is systematic disciplined life style universally. Services of Rotary Club are regular and the good works give satisfaction. Thoughts on prosperity gives meaning to life. When dreams, mind and enthusiasm get together it produces success in life” said Rotary Inter District 3180, District Governor Jnanavasantha Shetty.

 

He was speaking upon inauguration of Rotary Zonal Meet “Sambrama – 2011” at Katapadi S.V.S. Pre University College on Sunday. K. Sathyendra Pai presided over the program. Deputy Governor Ramesh Bhandary briefed on the achievements of Rotary District Zone 3.

 

 

 

 

 

Zonal Leader K. Manohara Rao, Jerald Cutino, Zonal Rotary Presidents; Gopinath Hegde Bajpe, Balakrishna Shetty Karkala, U. Anantha Padiyar Kaup, Sathishchandra Hegde Kinnigoli, Balachandra Sanil Mulki, Madhava Suvarna Padubidri, U. Nandankumar Shankarapura and Edwin Rodrigues Shirva were also present on the Dias.

 

Later in the upanyasa program Rt. Dr. Pundikai Ganapayi Bhat Mudubidri spoke on “Nudi Sanskriti”. Dr. Jnaneshwara Nayak Mangalore spoke on “Ayurveda life style, Rt. Dr. Prabhakara Shishila Sulya spoke on “Family Psychology”, JCI Rajendra Bhat spoke on “Vasanthothsava – 2011”.

 

In the concluding ceremony Rotary District Secretary B. M. Bhatt was the Chief Guest. He felicitated the former Deputy Governor and spoke on the occasion. Various cultural programs were conducted. Harish Rao Mattu proposed vote of thanks.
