Jyothi Mahila Mandal felicitates Poorna Nayak for securing highest marks in SSLC

Moodubelle, 3 August 2010: Kum. Poorna Nayak who had secured highest marks in SSLC among the students of 10th standard of St. Lawrence High School was felicitated by the Jyothi Mahila Mandal of Edmeru on Sunday, 1 August 2010. Kum. Poorna Nayak is the daughter of Mrs. Shilpa Nayak, one of the members of the Jyothi Mahila Mandal.

Kum. Poorna Nayak was felicitated by Mrs. Jacintha Aranha, President of the Belle Grama Panchayat by garlanding her. The President of the Jyothi Mahila Mandal-Mrs. Helen D’Souza also honoured Kum. Poorna Nayak by offering her flower bouquet, fruit plate and cash award.

Speaking at the occasion, Kum. Poorna Nayak expressed her feelings of happiness beign first among the SSLC students and thanked her parents, teachers and all the well wishers and also the Jyothi Mahila Mandal for recognising her achievement and felicitating her.

Mrs. Jacintha Aranha while congratulating Kum. Poorna Nayak for her achievement also wished her similar success in her future higher studies as well. President of the Jyothi Mahila Mandal-Mrs. Helen D’Souza welcomed the gathering and Secretary-Mrs. Sumangala proposed the vote of thanks.
