Mumbai: John Crasta Re-elected as Prez of St Joseph’s Konkani Welfare Association, Mira Road

Mumbai, 07 Jul 2013: John Crasta re-elected as president of St Joseph’s Konkani Welfare Association, Mira Road, here during the elections held at the annual general body meeting at Infant Jesus auditorium of St Joseph’s parish, Mira Road, on Sunday July 7 at 6.00pm.

The meeting began with a prayer led by spiritual director Fr Dominic Vas OCD.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Dominic Vas urged the Konkans to encourage their children to speak in their mother tongue Konkani for posterity. 

 

 

The secretary Sofia D’Sa presented the annual report.

Thirteen members were elected for the executive Committee. 
 
John Crasta welcomed the gathering.

Cultural Secretary: Hilary D’Silva
Vice President:  Celine Mendonca.
