Monthu Martis is the new President of Bellevision Muscat

Muscat, 12 Jun 2013: Bellevision Muscat held twin function of get-together of its new Managing Committee and farewell party to ex president Sylvester Alva on 7 June 2013 at 8pm at NTI Al Khuwair. Following the opening prayer recited by Lawrence Noronha, the members of the newly  constituted Managing Committee for the year 2013-14 were introduced to the gathering.

These new members are:

1.      Monthu Martis  - President
2.      Reshma Rodgrigues  - Secretary
3.      Arun Rodrigues  - Treasurer
4.      Simon D’Souza  - Communication and Public Relation in charge
5.      Edward Mendonca  &  Glenda Castelino – Cultural Secretaries
6.      Ignatius Lobo & Dion – Food and Beverages In charge
Core committee – Lawrence Alva, Simon D’Souza and Edward Mendonca
Ex president, Sylvester Alva, handed over his responsibilities to the present president, Montu Martis.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 As a token of appreciation, Lawrence Alva presented a memento to Sylvester Alva.  Then Sylvester Alva wore a white T Shirt which was presented by BV and all wrote their wishes on the T Shirt.  Edward Mendonca in his speech mentioned that Sylvester Alva has been an active member of Bellevision Muscat. Lawrence Alva also said that he has been a role model for all other members of Bellevision Muscat. Sylvester Alva thanked all the members for their continued support and also promised that he would be ever willing to render any service to the association whenever needed.

Glenda Castelino, conducted games for couples and children. Rishitha and Vijeeth danced gracefully as well as little girl Sharita.
Celestine Lobo, Philomena Mendonca, Sandra Martis, Ida Castelino and Sylvester Alva had prepared mouth watering food, snacks and sweets. Lawrence Noronha shared some jokes.

Photographs of entire event were covered by  Priyanka Mendonca.  Around 50 members attended and enjoyed the memorable evening. Tambola was conducted by Glenda Castelino.

Edward Mendonca compeered the programme and also proposed the vote of thanks.
