Udupi: Congressmen Celebrate Oath-taking of Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake

Udupi, 19 May 2013: The Congressmen celebrated by distributing sweets and bursting firecrackers at in front of Rajeev Bhavan and Kaup town, near here, as their newly-elected MLA Vinay Kumar Sorake sworn-in as cabinet minister in the state capital on Saturday May 18.

 

Addressing the Congressmen, local leader Moideenabba said that Vinay Kumar was elected as MLA for the first time.  The residents of Kaup legislative assembly constituency has high hope on minister Vinay Kumar and expects him to honor them.  The minister Vinay Kumar will be accorded grand welcome when he arrives in the city after the oath-taking ceremony, said Moideenabba. He also thanked CM Siddaramaiah and Congress veterans on behalf of residents of Kaup in this regard.

The minority unit president H Abdulla, the local leaders Chandrashekar Kaup, Vijay Amin, Sudhir Padubidri, Lava Karkera, Lava Karkera, Abdul Hameed, Khaleed Ahmed, Vijay Amin, Sudhir Padubidri, Hammabba and others were present at the occasion.
