Mangalore: Sandalwood Actor Ramya adds Glamour to Election Campaign in City

Mangalore, 26 Apr 2013: Congress is the secular party that encourages youth, committed for infrastructural development and enables citizens to lead life with peace and dignity.  It also gives prominence to women, said Sandalwood cine actor Ramya.

Addressing the media persons during a press meet held t District Congress Committee (DCC) here on Friday April 26 at 9.30am; Ramya said that she is a member of youth Congress and willingly campaigns for the upcoming assembly elections.  Her mother is also an active member that inspired her to do her mite for Congress. 

 

The poll war is getting fiercer as the assembly elections are approaching nearer. The weather in the coastal district also gets harsher with soaring heat. The star campaigning has 5 percent appeal on the voters, said Ramya in reply to a media persons query.  

 
When a media person queried, whether she has plans to pursue active politics?  Ramya said that it’s a huge responsibility that needs one has to be at the peoples service 24x7x365.  She is right now busy in cinema, but has interest to serve the people.
